For this project, I utilize the prompt to encapsulate a fantasy digital illustration of two sisters uniting together. I wanted to dramatize and entail the importance of their relationship between the sisters by employing great depth of shadow, perspective and lighting. I achieved this by challenging myself to employ various uses of medium and software, something I have always wanted to do but never done. For instance, I began by using blender to develop the environment and help me establish the lighting and perspective. I rendered both an eevee and workshop image. Workshop image allows me to select certain elements from the rendered image during my illustration process. I then used Photoshop for the major illustration of the project and added intricate details. My initial attempt, I felt unsatisfied with the result, especially with the hair, clothing and background and chose a different approach to my project by incorporating a beaming light source. My second attempt, I was more pleased with the aesthetic and my use of lighting. After finalizing the details I used after effect to create a simple animation of the project by manipulating the layers into a 3D perspective. After working on this project, I feel more comfortable utilizing 3D into 2D illustrations, but felt as though the project can be improved more if I explored more digital techniques to make the illustration stand out more.
